i love nanyang jc.
i love my ogs members + leaders.
i love my faction- gaia.
i love the activities, esp disco night and many more. :)
it's saddening to know that orientation had just came to an end. 4 days of orientation had really bonded us together. we had fun even though many of us looked tired. we were damn high as if others thought we are insane. we create our own cheers with our creativity. we had our meals after each day of orientation and most importantly we work as a team from then till forever.
well, day 1 of orientation wasnt very fun. talks from principal and teachers were rather draggy. admin needs to be done by the ogls and made the J1 felt restless initially. we had our icebreaker and took very long to know everybody's name. games in day 1 were okay and we had our mass dance too.
day 2 of orientation was so much better. And the highlight event for the day was so called amazing race at sentosa. we indeed had alot of fun even though the journey was pretty long. Some activities were new to me and i just loved it. Our own cheers were also created during this event. All thanks to gerald for helping us. Fashion parade was held at last for the day. it was awesome. Almost everyone had fun even though we felt disgusted by some students during the parade. haa. As a OG, we had our dinner at harbour front centre.
day 3 of orienatation was awesome. wet activities were carried out and i got myself damn wet that day. some of our shoe was dirtied and we ended up walking ard the sch barefooted. it was a new experience, yeah? we had our cheering competiton among the 4 factions and my faction won this competition. we are great! unlike other faction, we did not have any logistic needs. we still won. hahaa. Dancing king and queen competion was next. they had to dance according to what they had learnt during mass dance. and the dance was fun. skit was alright and disco night was after skit. duration for disco night was kind of short. i had lots of fun dancing and jumping. haha. no words can decribe this disco night. it's really awesome!!!.
day 4 of orienatation. we had our cip, flag day. we had tried our best to ask ppl for their donation, i supposed? then went for lunch at wheellock place-n.y.d.c, where nanyang ppl own it? haha. headed home after that. and i slept from 5pm to next day 9plus. >.< haa.
i simply love nyjc and this orientation. it's like one of the best that i ever go as compared to other camps.
Lastly, 3 cheers oh 3 cheers for OG24 - my OG. :)
